Excellent piece about a grape that deserves more attention. It’s always reminded me of a ripe Gamay that went on a date with Zinfandel. The Pinot parentage certainly makes sense.

Oh, and Walter Glatzer also makes some lovely Grüner Veltliner!

Yes, I saw those notes a few weeks ago. I have been looking for a source for the GV Dornenvogel. The wines are not as easy to source as they once were.
