Hey Meg, great set of picks, and IMHO you saved the best for the last round, and having tried that Scheurebe you are right on, and it is lighting up my memory banks...they might require a recharge, with cheese for Gouda measure.
New site is clean and crisp, leaving you room to add the impact. very nice. cheers.

Thanks so much, Todd. That Scheurebe is a little pricey but worth it. Glad you like the new site look, too!

I'm so glad to have stumbled upon this post thanks to a Google search. I was looking for the perfect wine to pair with my aged Gouda (one of my all-time favorite cheeses) and thanks to your tips, I did! I went for an Alberino from Portugal because of its stone fruits and it was wonderful!
