I LOVE the Albarino! It's such a refreshingly delicious wine.

Ho Meg,
I too love Albarino! And we too in Italy have a "terroirist" wine maker, very famous: Roberto Cipresso! Nice guy, I know him personally.

The Albarino is stunning. It actually tasts like an albarino, which is saying something.
We did a similar tasting at my store, but was lucky enough to have access to a 2001 Cigare Volant. It was the oldest wine under screwcap I'd ever had. You could really taste the mature Mourvedre. Beautiful.

Rose, Lizzy, Austin: thanks so much for your comments. Randall poured it yesterday at two tastings here in town and it was showing beautifully. Citrusy, minerally, bright, with a ringing clarity. The white Cigare was also knock your socks off good.

What a gorgeous display of wines! I have yet to try the Albarino but I really shouldn't delay the inevitable any longer. :)

It was truly an embarrassment of riches. I think you'd enjoy the Albariño. For $20, why wait?

Ken Payton

I'll wait.
